Peru’s Living Legacy
In the cobblestone streets surrounding the Plaza del Armas, you’ll see Andean women wearing traditional indigenous textiles and bottle-feeding baby llamas outside chi-chi shops selling luxury alpaca knitwear. In the distance, rolling hills lead to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It’s easy to see why Peru’s most famous city is so appealing to visitors, but stay here for a few days yourself and you’ll be delighted to discover that it hasn’t relinquished any of its soul.
