Santiago, a thriving metropolis with more than a third of Chile’s entire population, is one of South America’s most sophisticated cities. Its location, at the foot of some of the highest peaks in the Andes makes for a spectacular backdrop on clear days, the mountains standing majestically on the city limits.

The city is home to excellent restaurants and nightlife, and is also within easy access of the Andes Mountains (with great skiing in winter), the wine regions as well as the Pacific Coastline.
