- The only luxury hotel in a small fishing village, great place to disconnect
- Fantastic kite surfing and fewer tourists than at the better-known spots in Ceará
- Delicious food and a stunning pool area – it’s easy to spend a whole day without leaving the hotel
- As well as the beaches and kite surfing you can also visit the vast Parnaiba River Delta from here, wonderful for birdwatching as well as just cruising through wild mangrove forests by speedboat
- One of Brazil’s best sunsets
Cons
- The beach itself is around a five-minute walk from the hotel through the dunes
- The ground floor rooms don’t have sea views
- The nearest commercial airports with regular flights are Teresina and Fortaleza which are both around a five-hour drive away. Jericoacoara is closer (three hours) but has limited connections. Private flights can arrive at Parnaiba. However it is a property that works very well as part of a multi-stop land itinerary along the north coast
