Located outside the small fisherman’s village of Atins, the hotel consists of seven houses spaced throughout attractive tropical gardens, providing organic fruits and vegetables for the hotel’s restaurant. The rooms are all built using locally sourced, natural materials and designed by the architect-owner to maximize sustainability and guest comfort. There is a very relaxed family feel to the pousada and in the evening, guests gather in the communal areas for a caipirinha or a fresh pressed juice from the gardens to discuss the next day’s adventures – hikes into the dunes, kite surfing (great for beginners), or indeed just relaxing on the deserted beaches.
