Villa Beluno

Located on the shores of Nahuel Huapi Lake, roughly 30 minutes away from the centre of Bariloche, Villa Beluno is a luxurious family owned property. This is the perfect setting for those seeking peace and tranquillity amidst some of Argentina’s most iconic Patagonian landscapes.

A true labour of love, Villa Beluno was built from scratch by its current owners, who achieved a lifelong dream when they acquired a private lakefront estate on the San Pedro Peninsula. The thirteen ample suites are decorated with French and English style furniture, complemented by select pieces of local artwork and locally sourced natural materials. Each room features a terrace with views of the lake and villa gardens. Relax by the indoor/outdoor pools or enjoy walks in the hotel grounds. Guests can also enjoy mountain hikes, kayaking, and other adventure activities. Skiing is also available during the winter months (July to September).

Hotel Pros
  • Family friendly – connecting rooms are available, and the indoor/outdoor pool is a winner with kids
  • Exclusive feel – located in a private area of gardens on a remote peninsula around 30 minutes outside of town
  • Perfect for large family private bookings
  • The most luxurious accommodation in Bariloche
  • Delicious home-cooked food and one of our favourite afternoon teas in Argentina
  • Close to the Circuito Chico, the Puerto Pañuelo (where boat trips leave from), and the Nahuel Huapi National Park
Hotel Cons
  • No restaurants (other than the excellent hotel restaurant) within walking distance, taxis or a hire car are essential if you want to go out in the evenings
  • Swish service but with a boutique, family-run feel – lacking the facilities of some bigger resorts, such as tennis courts, a golf course, a kids club, or 24-hour room service
  • Overall design is more European-inspired than Argentinean, but it works beautifully in the context, and the star of the show is the spectacular views and surrounding landscapes
