Palácio Nazarenas

Cusco | South America

  • Impeccable Service with a private butler allocated to each suite. NB the herbal bath service has an extra cost but is a great way to relax after a day’s sightseeing
  • One of Cusco’s best restaurants with a menu designed by Virgilio Martinez (of Central fame)
  • The world’s only fully oxygenated spa with own brand product and treatments using traditional Andean herbs and oils
  • Small luxury touches such as a classical harpist at breakfast and handmade soft toys as gifts for children underline the five-star experience
  • As this is a historical building all of the rooms are a little different and some of the Junior Suites can be a little dark
  • The restaurant and bar do sometimes lack atmosphere as they don’t attract many outside guests (at the same time this means the feel is very exclusive)
  • Besides the Nazarenas Suite, none of the rooms have views of the historical centre. That said the courtyards of the hotel that most of the rooms overlook are very picturesque and some rooms have views of the rooftops of San Blas. Inward facing rooms is typical of what used to be a historical convent, and ultimately it adds to the exclusive and intimate feel of the property
  • Despite having a superb pool and spa the hotel doesn’t have a gym. Still, with Cusco’s many hills and beautiful hiking opportunities you won’t feel the need!
