Being British but based in South America means Dehouche brings together local knowledge with a proper understanding of international practices and tastes. We have extensively researched the whole continent, finding and getting to know the best places. We personally know all the nicest areas and due to years of experience operating
luxury holidays throughout the continent we are able to predict up and coming locations; we consistently spot potential in areas within areas of major cities or small beaches that will suit tourism or perhaps will remain perfectly untouched.
Working out of offices in Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires is a small team comprising of Australians, Brazilians, Americans and Europeans who between them have lived in and worked in various countries in South America and around the world.
Dehouche Land was founded by Henry Madden and Paul Irvine in Rio de Janeiro in 2004. Henry is from Cornwall in England and after studying Law at Newcastle University worked in Investment Banking for UBS in various cities around the world. Paul is from Aberdeenshire in Scotland, he studied International Studies at Aberdeen University before becoming a head-hunter in London. They both went to school at Gordonstoun in Scotland.
